That Precious Touch - Lake Charles, Louisiana (Prien Lake Mall)

By booking an appointment with That Precious Touch, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These policies are in place to ensure fairness, respect, and a smooth experience for all clients.

General Services

  • That Precious Touch provides professional hairstyling services, including braids, locs, knotless styles, shampoo & blowouts, scalp massages, hot towel treatments, and other related services.

  • Massage therapy services will be available in the near future. Currently, only relaxation add-ons, such as scalp massage and hot towels, are available.

  • All services are performed with care and professionalism to ensure client satisfaction.

Booking & Deposits

  • A non-refundable $20 deposit is required to secure all hair appointments. Deposits go toward your final balance.

  • Walk-ins are accepted when available, but booked appointments take priority.

  • Remaining balances are due immediately after the service is completed.

Payments

  • Accepted payment methods: Cash, CashApp, Apple Pay, Zelle, and credit/debit cards.

  • Checks and Venmo are not accepted

  • Gift certificates must be used before the expiration date; expired gift certificates may be redeemed within 48 hours after expiration only.

Timing & Late Arrivals

  • Clients who arrive more than 15 minutes late will have their appointments canceled, and the deposit forfeited.

  • Clients who arrive late two times will be charged an additional $15 fee on their third late arrival.

Cancellations & No-Shows

  • Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance.

  • Last-minute cancellations or no-shows will result in a $20 fee in addition to the loss of the deposit.

  • Frequent no-shows or late cancellations may result in refusal of future bookings.

Client Responsibilities

  • Hair must be fully detangled, and any previous hairstyle must be removed before sitting in the chair.

  • The stylist will provide shampoo and blowout only.

  • If hair is not properly prepared, the appointment will be canceled and the deposit will be forfeited.

  • Removal of previous styles (braids, twists, sew-ins, etc.) or detangling services will incur an additional fee starting at $20, depending on the style being removed and the time required. If the client refuses, service will not be provided.

  • Clients are welcome to bring guests since the salon is located inside the mall; however, guests must remain respectful and not interfere with services.

Liability & Safety

  • Clients are responsible for informing the stylist of any allergies, scalp sensitivities, or medical conditions that may affect the service.

  • That Precious Touch is not responsible for reactions caused by undisclosed conditions or sensitivities.

  • For your safety, services may be refused if the stylist determines the client’s hair/scalp condition is not suitable for the requested style.

Photos & Marketing

  • Photos and videos may be taken of completed hairstyles for marketing purposes.

  • Client consent will always be requested before posting on social media, especially for minors.

Right to Refuse Service

  • That Precious Touch reserves the right to refuse service to anyone in cases of:

    • Disrespectful or inappropriate behavior.

    • Poor Hygiene that prevents proper service.

    • Failure to follow salon policies (e.g., no deposit, repeated lateness).

Confidentiality

  • All personal information and conversations shared during appointments remain private and will not be disclosed.

Agreement

- By booking or receiving a service at That Precious Touch, clients acknowledge and accept these terms and conditions.
